Jacques Hauville is one of the most important creators of French reconstruction (1945-1955). He created BEMA (Bureau d'Etudes Modernes Appliquées à l'habitation) and produced furniture in light oak, characterized by a design of great fluidity and by the choice of materials such as plywood. Nicknamed the "gentleman designer", Jacques Hauville shows all his talent in this rare office.
